Interim Director of Laboratory

Our INTERIM DIRECTOR OF LABORATORY possesses the following attributes:

  • Developed policies and procedures for the Core Lab as well as instrumental in getting ISBT implemented in blood bank
  • Managed 35 employees with significant improvement in the Gallup employee survey using the Studer Principles for daily rounding on employees
  • Most recent 3 The Joint Commission (TJC) surveys with no requirements for improvement (RFI)
  • Analyzed patient satisfaction and HCAHPs data, trends and concerns to ensure laboratory patient satisfaction in the ED was consistently around 90%
  • Served on ED and Critical Care Committees in which we worked on a LEAN collaborative effort to improve turnaround time for laboratory tests and throughout put in the ED. This resulted in the ED being the highest performer with best throughput times within a 37 hospital IDN
  • Served on Corporate Committees for selection of chemistry, urinalysis, hematology and blood culture analyzers using an objective Six Sigma approach to the evaluation of the instruments
